AP 3D-Design Studio

This Advanced Studio Art course is intended for students that want to pursue advanced independent studies in Ceramics, Sculpture, Jewelry/Metalsmithing or any other three-dimensional art form. The students enrolling in the advanced studio courses will be expected to explore the different facets of the visual arts in an in-depth and thoughtful manner. This course is designed to expand a student’s creative talent through the purposeful exploration of visual phenomena.  The course is only open to Juniors & Seniors.  If an AP portfolio is not submitted the class title becomes Advanced 3D.

Prerequisites:  11th & 12th grade students only.  AP level needs to have at least two of the 3D Arts and instructor’s signature.  The advanced level requires at least one or more of the following classes: Ceramics, Jewelry, or Sculpture.
