AP Studio Art: 2-D & Advanced 2-D Design
AP Studio Design 2-D and her handsome sister course, Advanced 2D Design, invite students to explore the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design. Over the course of a semester (Advanced 2D) or a year (AP 2D), students will build a portfolio consisting of two parts: Breadth, which demonstrates their range of ability in a variety of media, and Concentration, which is a sustained visual exploration of a single theme, topic, or idea. Lovingly curated by the legendary Mr. Cummings, this course is sure to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable- for this is how we learn and grow.
